The Lahaina Jackpot Fishing Tournament is the oldest money Tournament held in the State of Hawaii. Started in 1976, it has enjoyed continuous community support for 34 years. The objective of this tournament is to promote Lahaina as a sport-fishing destination, along with educating people about sport fishing. It also educates and promotes conservation of our marine resources through a Tag and Release program. The tournament is organized and operated by theLahaina Yacht Club.

The Lahaina Jackpot Fishing Tournament, Organized by the Lahaina Yacht Club has enjoyed many successes over its 35 plus years, with an average participation of as many as 120 boats with 450 to 500 Anglers from all parts of the State, the Continental US as well as Internationally.
