 BIG NEWS!!! The dates for the 2008 Lahaina Jackpot Fishing Tournament have been set. Mark your Calenders, Saturday Nov. 1st & Sunday Nov. 2nd. The Wahine Fishing Tournament will be the week before, Saturday October 25th.
Further information will be published shortly. For SLIP space in the Lahaina Harbor, it is still "first come, first serve" and STILL up to the Harbor Master. The Lahaina Yacht Club and the Jackpot Committee have NO INFLUENCE or ability to assist with how boats are placed.
The Lahaina Jackpot Fishing Tournament is the oldest money Tournament held in the State of Hawaii. Started in 1976, it has enjoyed continuous community support for 32 years. The objective of this tournament is to promote Lahaina as a sport-fishing destination, along with educating people about sport fishing. It also educates and promotes conservation of our marine resources through a Tag and Release program. The tournament is organized and operated by the Lahaina Yacht Club.
 The tournament has enjoyed many successes over its 32 plus years, with an average participation of as many as 120 boats with 450 to 500 Anglers from all parts of the State, the Continental US & Internationally as well.
